Native American dog breeds – Although we can find a dog today anywhere in world, at first I could only see each race in their home countries. Today we talk about species that appeared in native America. Either because they were always there, or because they are descendants of dogs introduced by conquistadors who invaded America in fifteenth century, there are dogs that can be considered native or country specific.

An example of Native American dog breeds is Dogo Argentino, although we will explain them all closer. Dogo Argentino these dogs emerged in province of Cordoba (in Argentina) thank Dr. Antonio Nores Martinez, who in 1928 was devoted to cross several purebreds with dog mixture of Mastiff, Bulldog and Bullterrier known as “Old Cordoba Fighting Dog”. These pets protect what they want, they provide a great company, and are excellent in hunting tasks. Dogo Argentino is a dog friendly and humble. His appearance deceives, because it gives impression of being a violent animal. He is aware of his power, so he becomes aggressive only in exceptional situations.
