Forgive me for taking so long to blog about the big Both is Better relocation (from West Philly to Long Island’s north shore, for those who missed the news)–it’s been nine days since we moved and it’s taken about that long for me to be ready to say anything pleasant about the experience. (Believe me, you didn’t want to hear anything from me on move day; it was a record-breaking 102 degrees out and I was in a record-breakingly foul mood.)

The New, Wearable, Philadelphia-Made Art in My Life

I’ve recently decided that connecting with fellow artists, talking about art, and (when applicable) buying the art they create brings me more pleasure than just about any other thing in life. I think I sort of suspected this all along, although for a good while I think what I longed for most was to talk to other writers. I must say, I’ve really changed my mind about that.

How Philly Moves

Yesterday, I heard the fantastic news that Penn alum, photographer, and old buddy J.J. Tiziou has an amazingly high-profile project on the horizon. His artistry is going to be made into a 50,000 square foot mural at the Philadelphia International Airport!
