Added another piece to the portfolio today–just finished the invitation for the Episcopal Academy’s annual fundraising gala, Starfest, put on by the EA Parents’ Association.
When literary legend Daniel Menaker needed a book website for his upcoming A Good Talk: The Story and Skill of Conversation (TWELVE Publishers, January 2010), he turned to Both is Better LLC.
The result of this exciting collaboration is live to the web today–at danielmenaker.com.
I’ve been scouring the WordPress plug-ins for the best way to attempt an online portfolio, and I think I’ve settled on the popular NextGen Gallery for now. Check out my new teeny-tiny portfolio here!
This month, a piece I wrote on a former Penn classmate (go ‘00!) appears in the November/December issue of The Pennsylvania Gazette. It’s a profile of Jonathan Grabelle Herrmann, the executive director of a supremely cool Philadelphia nonprofit called Campus Philly. You can read it by clicking here.
We’re just wrapping up the new Academy of Community Music website–take a look! ACM is a wonderful community music school based just outside Philadelphia, PA; they hired us for a redesign of their old site, seen here for now. We’re running final tests at the moment, but I’ll be sure to post the link to the new site once it’s live (very soon).
A beloved long-time client and one of the worthiest causes around–Legal Aid of Southeastern PA ensures justice for all by providing quality legal representation to low-income people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties (just one among their many services). I created this new logo for them in 2007; below that is an excerpt from their quarterly newsletter, The Voice.
Founded and run by a published author and passionate artist, this tiny firm is here to make your next big job a whole lot easier.
Perhaps, in the past, you’ve pieced your print and web projects together by juggling the skills and schedules of multiple consultants. Ouch! Choose Both is Better, and suffer those headaches no more.
We’re no doctors*, but go with us and we expect you’ll feel as though you’ve taken some magical wonder drug--one that allows you to fully focus on conquering the towering to-do pile on your desk, all the while peacefully assured that the unusually attractive nerds at Both is Better are wrangling your unwieldy stack of printouts, drawings, meeting minutes and harried scribbles into a polished and pitch-perfect communications vehicle.
After all, we’ve been curing the project-onset headaches of fellow artists, community- and faith-based nonprofits, government agencies and small businesses since 2003.
