About Rachel Estrada Ryan

I graduated with a BA in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, spent three years in research and writing positions with two Philadelphia nonprofits, then started Both is Better in 2003; I now have over 10 years of experience using my writing, graphic design and project management skills for the public, nonprofit and private sectors of Philadelphia and New York.

As a writer, I’ve published dozens of personal essays and articles.  My work has appeared in Writer’s Digest, AAA World, The Pennsylvania Gazette and Philadelphia Weekly, among other print and online publications.  My fiction and other creative ramblings have yet to be published (though that hasn’t stopped me yet).

 

About the Both is Better Team

Part of the beauty of hiring Both is Better is that I can complete a wide variety of writing and design projects from start to finish on my own; however, certain web projects do require the assistance of subcontracted developers, and, of course, print projects more often than not require the assistance of commercial printers.  I take great pains to select the right person or company for each job, and am guided by budget and other requirements to make these choices on a project-by-project basis.  Both is Better is closely connected to a network of talented individuals and businesses who are ready to help when needed.
