Forgive me for taking so long to blog about the big Both is Better relocation (from West Philly to Long Island’s north shore, for those who missed the news)–it’s been nine days since we moved and it’s taken about that long for me to be ready to say anything pleasant about the experience. (Believe me, you didn’t want to hear anything from me on move day; it was a record-breaking 102 degrees out and I was in a record-breakingly foul mood.) Every day since has gotten exponentially better, naturally, and the progression of new paint colors across our walls has also made me a lot happier. For those who obsess over/enjoy paint color names as much as I do–we’ve got ‘fernwood green’ in the living room, ‘passion blue’ in our bedroom, and a very boringly-titled-yet-beautiful ‘gray’ in the kitchen…next up, ‘classic brown’ underneath the chair rail in our dining room.
At this stage of the game, I especially want those of my readers who also happen to be my clients (hi there!) to know that I am very much back open for business. You are officially not bothering me at a bad time–email away! In fact, by way of proof, here’s a photo of my new office setup, complete with cute little girl hovering underneath my desk chair (her favorite spot):

Beautiful office — I’d say you made a very rapid transition to pull that together! Welcome to Long Island; other than the traffic, it’s a pretty great place.
